Trying to load WindowBlinds on a new Compaq Doesnt Skin it although it shows it is running I have been using WindowBlinds for years and have never seen anything like this. Does H.P. perhaps program thier computers to not accept skinning? Also it will accept the plain cursor xp but pro completly crashes the system

I use Windowblinds on a year old HP with no problems. Perhaps one of the bundled programs conflicts. Had Norton 2004 bundled but stopped using it at about the same time I purchased Object Desktop. Too many conficts with too many programs, not just StarDock programs. Which version of WindowBlinds are you using? It should show something even using WB5. The onboard graphics might not show it correctly but it should show.

I have a relatively new HP (2 months, Pavillion zv6000), AMD Athlon 64 3200, 1g ram, XP Pro, ect., and everything is working fine (WB, OD+, Cursor XP plus, DX3, rght click, etc.). I'm not sure what it could be, but it doesn't seem HP is doing something intentionally. Have you tried both 4.6 and 5.0? I hope you can get this sorted out.

I have had different Compaqs for several years, and I have never had any problems what so ever with WB or anything else from Stardock.

I'm on a Compaq Presario using the onboard graphics and Compaq Connections is installed. I've got no problems at all. Using WB5 and all is fine. There must be some other problem.
